The former Saudi Arabia and Venezuela coach who has earned two victories in two matches in the Nations cup qualifiers hit in Ilorin on Saturday ahead of NPFL tie between Kwara United and Sunshine Stars of Akure on Sunday.
The Portuguese tactician we gather and one of his assistants were received on arrival in Ilorin by Kwara United chairman, Kumbi Titiloye.

Kwara United and Sunshine Stars are in the hunt for third position in the NPFL, which guarantees a place in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup. The gap between hosts Afonja Warriors and Sunshine on the log is too close to call.
While the homers are sixth on the log with 49 points the visitors are seventh on the log with 48 points. Kwara United versus Sunshine are however not the only fixtures for Sunday.
