Super Eagles star returns to training with English club

Super Eagles vice-captain William Troost-Ekong is back in training with Watford on Tuesday after Nigeria’s friendly match against Algeria in Austria.

Ekong was given permission to leave the Super Eagles camp in Austria on Monday, after reaching an agreement with the manager Gernot Rohr.

The 27-year-old has now resumed training with Watford ahead of their Championship clash against Derby County on Friday.

Watford shared the video of the former Udinese defender and his teammates at the training complex through the social media handle on Wednesday.

The Eagles played out a 1 – 1 draw with Tunisia’s Carthage Eagles on Tuesday night in the absence of Ekong.
