Super Falcons remain glued to 38th position in FIFA ranking

Super Falcons remained glued to their 38th position in the FIFA world ranking dished out Friday.

Falcons who crashed out in the round of 16 at the last world cup in France have remained glued to the position since April this year.

The team ranked 36th going into the World cup but went down one step to 37th after the tournament and later down to present 38th position.

The 11-time African Women Champions however maintained their position as number one in Africa, followed by Cameroon and South Africa in the second and third places respectively.

Ghana, Cote d Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Tunisia, Morocco, Mali and Algeria complete the top 10 in Africa.  Although they are ranked 94th in the world, the Copper Queens of Zambia earned some vital points.
