Super-Sub Moffi  bags man-of-the-match in Belgium

Nigeria youngster Terem Moffi came from the bench to win his first man of the match award in the Belgium First Division after his heroics in  KV Kortrijk’s come back 2-2  draw against  Club Brugge on Sunday.

The Bruggeers raced to a 0-2 lead thanks to goals from Simon Deli and Federico Ricca before Ilombe Mboyo pull one back for the hosts with three minutes left to halftime.

Substitute Moffi had just spent a minute on the field after replacing compatriot Imoh Ezekiel at half time before netting pass Simon Mignolet in the 47th minute to draw level for  his first goal for De Kerels.

Moffi, 20, recently signed a contract for three and a half years after he fired 20 goals in the Lithuanian top league this past season.

His impressive scoring form in only his first season in the A Lyga with an impressive help him to win the Auksinis Batelis- an equivalent of the Golden Shoe award usually reserved for the player with the most goals in the season under review.
