Unarguably, Victor Osimhen is on fire. He is in the class of best Nigeria internationals making waves with haulage of goals early into football season across the globe.

On Wednesday the 20-year-old was a delight to behold for Lille showing his best artistry in the round leather game for the French Ligue 1 club side.

His out of this world performance which has provided four goals thus far in the league has left football enthusiasts relishing with delights.

Asissat Oshoala, a professional female footballer and Super Falcons goal netter was left delighted watching the young vibrant striker scoring brace against the strong side Saint-Etienne in the French Ligue 1 game on Wednesday.

The female Nigerian international in her reaction described the Super Eagles player as “Eshin”, a revered Yoruba parlance and eulogy that likens someone to the strength of a horse.

Sports pundits could not describe him less as most of them believe the senior national football team now has a future striker, calling on the team’s handlers to continue to keep tab on the striker.

Osimhen started the game on the bench and took the place of Frenchman, Loic Remy in the 19th minute. The 20-year-old opened scoring for the hosts six minutes before the break after he was set up by Domagoj Bradaric.

Jonathan Bamba added the second goal for Lille from the spot in the 69th minute Osimhen then scored his second of the game 16 minutes from time following a pass from Mehmet Zeki.

The Nigeria international has now scored four goals in three league appearances for Les Dogues.  He described his feat as “wonderful team performance.” on his online post after the match yesterday

Lille will face Reims on Sunday in their next Ligue 1 clash.

Anybody seeing Osimhen doing wonders for Lille, He’s scored twice today taking his tally to 4 goals in 3 games I hope Super Eagles coach will give this lad more playing time now that Ighalo has retired from national duty.
