This also includes the replicas of the US Open and Davis Cup trophies, at a price of £5,000 and £4,000 respectively.
Also a VfB Leimen prize, coming from his native city during a 1987 Davis Cup tie is on sale. The 1985 and 1987 Wimbledon trophies are the most expensive ones, starting from £8,000 each. Becker can’t keep his junior trophies either.
The oldest piece comes from a junior tournament in 1982. In 2017, Becker was declared bankrupt and he apparently wasted a net worth of $167 million. Auctioning his trophies is his latest attempt to pay-off a part of his debts, despite he defended himself from criticism about his financial situation several times.
