Thompson-Herah and Fraser-Pryce clash in Lausanne

It will be a clash of the Jamaican titans in the women’s 100m in Lausanne on August 26th, as Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah takes on compatriot Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

Fresh from her double Olympic triumph in Tokyo, Jamaican superstar Elaine Thompson-Herah will be looking to crown a dream 2021 in the coming weeks as she attacks a third Diamond Trophy, and she resumes her title charge with a mouth-watering clash of the titans in Lausanne on August 26th.

Thompson-Herah will take on fellow Jamaican and Tokyo 100m silver medallist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce in the ninth leg of the 2021 Wanda Diamond League, with all of the remaining top six finishers from the Olympic final.

Bronze medallist Shericka Jackson will complete the Jamaican contingent, while Ivorian star Marie-Josée Ta Lou will also take to the blocks, while Swiss stars Ajla Del Ponte and Mujinga Kambundji will be looking to spring a surprise on home soil.
