Another opportunity for Salah

For Liverpool star, Mohammed Salah, Saturday’s final is another opportunity to showcase himself. Salah could still haunted by last year’s edition which ended after just 30 minutes following a clash with Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos.  Although he has not reached the levelsof last year he still has 26 goals in 51 appearances and remains a pivotal figure.

Lifting the trophy will decide Pochettino’s future

Winning the UEFA Champions League will certainly increase Mauricio Pochettino’s profile. Already the Tottenham Hotspur manager has hinted that he could walk awayif they win in Madrid. “To win the Champions League with Tottenham in these circumstances this season, maybe I need to think about maybe doing something different in the future,” he said prior to their comeback win against Ajax in Amsterdam.

Midfield headache for Klopp

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp will have to decide on whether to pick his captain Jordan Henderson or Fabinho. Both have started only one Champions League match which was the 4-0 semi-final second leg bashing of Barcelona at Anfield.

Klopp would have to decide who would join Wijnaldum and James Milner who have played 10 of their 12 matches.
