Tiger Woods pleasant moment with cancer patient Luna Perrone

 

Legendary golfer Tiger Woods has been pictured wearing leg support and in crutches alongside a 10-year-old girl who has a rare form of bone cancer.

Luna Perrone is undergoing treatment for Ewing’s sarcoma but had a smile from ear-to-ear when snapped next to the 15-time major champion.

The American sports-star was involved in a serious car accident where it is alleged his Genesis GV80 SUV rolled over in a single-vehicle collision in late February.

Woods was rushed to hospital where it was confirmed he had multiple leg injuries and had undergone surgery.

The legendary golfer has been pictured for only the second time following the incident, making Luna’s day as she took to Instagram to highlight her excitement.

She wrote: “I got to have a quick chat with Tiger Woods this weekend when I bumped into him at the soccer fields!

“He told me to ‘stay strong’ which has always been my goal!

“Stay strong physically and mentally and inspire others to do the same!

Luna’s family has so far raised over $100,000 to cover treatment costs which involves chemotherapy, and blood and immunity-boosting shots at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach.

Woods offered his support and encouragement to the brave battler when he met her on the sports fields where she plays soccer and softball.
