The debate on who is the greatest footballer of all-time may yet rage on between fans of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi but for this season’s UEFA Champions League, the Portuguese is a clear favourite to win the Best Player Gong following his outstanding performances for Real Madrid so far.

The former Manchester United forward is currently breaking all the goals record in European football and he is currently on 120 goals in the Champions League with Messi in second with 100goals.

Here are the top five scorer’s in this season’s UEFA Champions League:

Cristiano Ronaldo

The Real Madrid is leading the chart with 15 goals to be Euro King. He has played 900 minutes and has scored a goal in every 60 minutes.

Robert Firmimo

Liverpool forward, Robert Firmimo is next on the chart with 8 goals. The Brazil international has featured 10 times for the Anfield side in Europe this season, 789 minutes and has 4 assists.

Mohammed Salah

Mohammed Salah is third with 8 goals and two assists. The Liverpool attacker has played 735 minutes and nine appearances to his name.

Wissam Ben Yedder

Sevilla’s Wissam Ben Yedder seven goals were unable to help his Spanish advance into the semi finals at the expense of Bayern Munich. This season, Yedder has a total of 20 shots on target, 651 minutes played and 81 minutes per goal.

Harry Kane

They maybe out of the Champions league but Tottenham’s Harry Kane was able to etch his name among Europe’s great. The 24-year old has scored seven goals with 2 assists to make the top 5.
