Torino ready to buy Ola Aina for N4b 

Serie A side Torino is reportedly set to sign Super Eagles wing back Ola Aina from Chelsea on a permanent deal.

According to Tuttosport, Torino and Coach Walter Mazzarri have decided to take up the €10m (N4bn) purchase option to buy Aina at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old Nigeria international arrived on loan at a cost of €600,000.

He has impressed so far this season, contributing a goal and an assist in 22 Serie A appearances for the Granata.

The Nigerian offensive fullback has surprised many with his performances, despite it being his first experience outside the British Island.

The former Hull City defender took advantage of his chance at the beginning of his loan spell, when Lorenzo De Silvestri got injured in the Serie A opener against Roma and the Chelsea loanee took his place.

Since then, Aina has become one of the most important parts of Walter Mazzarri’s team, showing his quality and versatility on both flanks of the five-man midfield in the former Napoli man’s classical 3-5-2.
