Tottenham propose Ndombele/Mckennie swap with Juventus

Tottenham Hotspur are discussing a potential exchange for Tanguy Ndombele with Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie.

There would also need to be a cash sum involved to cover the gap, but Ndombele has long been a target for the Bianconeri, even when he was still at Olympique Lyonnais.

Spurs paid €60m to sign him in the summer of 2019 and his contract runs to June 2025.

He made 46 competitive appearances for Tottenham last season, scoring six goals and assisting four.

The Turin-based newspaper insists that former Juve and current Tottenham director Fabio Paratici is in discussions over the possibility of this deal.

McKennie is on the market for the right price, having impressed in his debut season with six goals and three assists in 46 official matches for the Old Lady.

The American turns 23 later this month and cost €25m plus bonuses to sign from Schalke 04 in September 2020.

New coach Max Allegri would prefer a different profile in his midfield to McKennie.
