Transfer: Rodgers in search of a striker to support Vardy, Iheanacho

Leicester City boss, Brendan Rodgers, has revealed he would like to sign a new striker to boost his squad this season.

Rodgers revealed to the media after his squad victory over Norwich City in the Premier League.

“We would like to do at least one more to give us more attacking impetus at the top of the field,” Rodgers said.

“I know the club will always do the very best to help us do that but we may need more to go out.”

He added: “We are a long way off what I want the performances to be but I am still happy with the mentality and commitment”.
