Transfer window: Agent criticises Chelsea for blocking Mbuyamba loan exit

Chelsea defender, Xavier Mbuyamba, is frustrated being blocked from leaving on-loan this month.

The Holland U21 international has offers from England and Holland, but Chelsea are refusing to release him.

Agent Carlos Barros told Goal: “We’ve been talking to Chelsea all month about Xavier’s future.

“Honestly, there is a difference of opinion. We think a loan deal is best for him, but Chelsea are determined to keep Xavier for the Under-23 squad who are going through a difficult season. We are a little frustrated because there are options in England and the Eredivisie, but they are all blocked by Chelsea.

“We just want to be open about the whole situation because we think the whole situation could slow down Xavier’s development.”
