Transfer window: Arsenal ready to break bank, make club record offer for  Osimhen

Arsenal have made a club record offer for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

According to Calciomercato.com, Arsenal have had a club-record £76million bid for Osimhen rejected by Napoli.

The Gunners have been linked with a move to bring the 23-year-old to the Emirates with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah set to depart as free agents.

It in understood that Mikel Arteta is looking to bring in two centre-forwards, with Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus also a top target.

And the North London outfit are also said to be determined to snap up Osimhen, with Manchester United also eyeing up a potential swoop.

It has been said that Arsenal had already held talks with the agent of the Nigeria international.

Arteta’s side had extensively scouted the player this term, with the ex-Lille ace chipping in with 18 goals and six assists in 31 games in all competitions.

And it has been now been reported that Arsenal had stepped up their pursuit of Osimhen.

It has been stated that the Serie A giants will only part ways with the player should they receive a fee in the region of £93m.
