Transfer window: Don’t speak in my name, Chelsea striker Lukaku blasts agent

Chelsea striker, Romelu Lukaku, has hit out at his agent Federico Pastorello after comments in the Italian press.

Pastorello has confirmed plans to speak to the club’s new owner Todd Boehly about his client’s future at Stamford Bridge on Friday, just one day before the Blues’ FA Cup final against Liverpool.

However, the Belgian appeared to attack his own agent for the comments as he insisted that he will “never” let anyone else speak for him.

Taking to Instagram, Lukaku released a statement to claim that he had remained silent on the matter.

“Never will I let someone speak for me,” he posted to his story.

“I kept my mouth shut and focused on helping the team and end the season in the best way as possible.

“So if someone out there trying to say something about me and the club… not in my name.”
