One of the biggest deals of the January transfer window is coming to a close as Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Juventus have landed the signature of Dusan Vlahovic.
The Serbian striker garnered a lot of interest but it is the Turin giants who have beaten others to the punch for a reported fee of €75 million.
“Total agreement with player, agents and Fiorentina. €75m fee add ons included. €7m net salary per season.” and that the player will sign “..his long-term contract soon”. Romano later added that the Dusan Vlahovic will be in Torino for his medical on Friday.
Vlahović will undergo medical tests in Turin and sign his long-term contract soon.
A number of teams have been linked with Vlahovic over the past few months. La Liga side Atletico Madrid reportedly had interest, then Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur joined the race, with their north London rivals Arsenal having shown strong interest most recently. Juventus have secured the talents of the 21-year-old striker in a move that they will hope can make him their top marksman for years to come.
