Transfer window: Juve haggling with Chelsea over sale of de Ligt

Juventus are haggling with Chelsea regarding the sale of defender Matthijs de Ligt.

The Dutch centre-back has made it clear he wishes to leave the Italian club.

Chelsea have offered Timo Werner and cash for the 22-year-old defender.

However, Football Italia claims that Juventus are much more fond of Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic.

If they agree to a player plus cash deal for De Ligt, the Blues may need to include the American winger in the arrangement instead.

Chelsea are desperate to sign two central defenders this summer, as they lost Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger on free transfers.
