Transfer window: Napoli move to beat Marseille to Arsenal fullback Sead Kolasinac

Napoli have jumped into the battle for Arsenal full-back Sead Kolasinac.

The Gunners are happy for Kolasinac to leave this month and he has been in talks with Olympique Marseille.

However, L’Equipe says OM now face competition from Napoli, which have made contact with the defender’s camp.

If Arsenal are prepared to grant Kolasinac a free transfer, the Azzurri are happy to bring him to Naples in January.

Kolasinac was ready to sign for Watford last week before the move fell through over personal demands.
