Tyson Fury confirms birth of sixth child

Tyson Fury has become a dad for the sixth time after confirming his wife Paris gave birth to Athena on Sunday morning.

His bout with Covid saw his trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder cancelled after testing positive just weeks before the event.

Had that fight gone ahead on July 24, it may have seen him miss the birth, but with that rescheduled for October, he was able to be in attendance.

Speaking last month, Tyson admitted that he wants another five kids with childhood sweetheart Paris, having been together for more than 15 years.

He told the Daily Mail : “It starts with a story nobody knows.

“Paris became my girlfriend when she was 15 and me 16.

“When time came for marriage, I asked her how many children she wanted. She said 10.

“I said that will do for me. Now we’ve decided to go for one more. Make it 11.

“Let’s have a mixed football team playing on the pitch at Morecambe.”

On Saturday night, Paris shared a hilarious video on her own social media account showing the WBC champ glued to his phone watching boxing in her hospital room.

“Even in this situation he’s watching boxing,” she captioned the video with.

The married couple already have two daughters, named Venezuela and Valencia Amber and three sons called Prince John James, Prince Tyson Fury II and Prince Adonis Amaziah.

On the unusual name for his sons, the Gypsy King explained: “I’m a king and they’re princes until they earn their rightful name.”

Paris also suffered a miscarriage on the morning of her husband’s win over Sefer Seferi in 2018 – but she hid the news from the fighter.

“There’s been major things going on in my life and he’s had to stay concentrated on his job,” Paris said on This Morning. “Obviously a big mental upset could affect him.
