Tyson releases dance track for Roy Jones Jr fight

Mike Tyson will walk out to his own song in his exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr on November 28.

The 54-year-old – who hasn’t fought since losing against Kevin McBride in July 2005 – has teamed up with Tiki Lau to create a dance track for his return to the ring.

A bizarre music video of the song – titled ‘Mike Tyson’ – has been released ahead of next month’s fight, showing a cartoon version of the heavyweight knocking out a shark.

And he can even be seen pitting his wits against Godzilla on the beach while wearing a gul mask and snorkel.

One of the lyrics in the song hears Tyson say ‘lend me your ears or I’ll eat them’ – a reference to his infamous bite incident during his bout against Evander Holyfield in 1997.

Tyson also brags how he is the ‘most destructive fighter to ever live’ having knocked out 44 of his 58 opponents.

Indie-electro duo Tiki Lau have spoken of how the song was created, as they said: “Our multi-platinum Grammy-winning and legendary Tiki Lau team member Damon Elliott was in the studio with Mike Tyson and had him record the vocals then sent them over to us.

“Damon is like the DJ Khaled of our group. They knew we were ready to deliver, and we did.

“You can’t help but get super pumped up when listening to this song.”

Tyson – who famously sang ‘In the Air Tonight’ by Phil Collins in the 2009 smash-hit film The Hangover – recently revealed he hated pop king Michael Jackson.
