U-20 WAFU Cup:  Nigeria fail to fly past Niger

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles were on Sunday held to a goalless draw by the Junior Mena of Niger Republic at the ongoing 2018 WAFU U-20 Cup in Lome, Togo played at the Stade Municipal.

It was Nigeria’s opening game unlike Niger who on Friday shocked Ghana by a lone goal.

Niger now top Group B with four points while Nigeria have a point ahead of their next match against Ghana on Wednesday.

It was not the best of performance from the Nigeria side coached by Paul Aigbogun despite dominating the match.
