UEFA evaluates the next steps on botched Super League

UEFA Executive Committee has released a statement confirming the decision on the Super League is under evaluation.

The Executive Committee held a meeting today and addressed the issue of the 12 clubs involved in the breakaway competition.

Sky Sport Italia reported the UEFA had postponed the decision and the Association then confirmed the case is not closed in an official statement.

“The UEFA Executive Committee has been updated on the latest developments in the so-called Super League,” the statement said.

“Including the options available to UEFA and the steps it is considering to take in the future.”
