UEL: Legia Warsaw hand Iheanacho’s Leicester first defeat in Poland

Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City are beaten by Legia Warsaw in Poland as they remain winless in Group C of the Europa League on Thursday.

Leicester City were not at the races in the first half and they deservedly went behind around the half-hour mark.

Mahir Emreli got the goal as he found the net from the edge of the penalty area. He outmuscled Daniel Amartey before scoring past Kasper Schmeichel.

The Foxes pushed for an equaliser in the second half but they were frustrated by the hosts as they were beaten in Poland.

Leicester have one point from their opening Europa League games of the season in Group C.
