Uganda hit Asaba November 19 for Eagles

Uganda who will face the Super Eagles in an international friendly on November 20 are expected in Asaba, the Delta State capital the day before the encounter.

This was confirmed by the country’s football authorities on Monday who said the team will hit the oil-rich state after their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Cape Verde.

A total of 30 players have been called up for the encounter by head coach, Sebastien which will be the second meeting for the two teams in the last three years.

In 2015, Uganda shocked Nigeria by a lone goal at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Reports emanating from Kampala reveal that the Cranes will set up a training camp in Lugago on November 9 with the home based players, while the 16 overseas based players will report on November 11.

Uganda lead Group L with ten points and need just one point to qualify for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon. They are followed by Tanzania coached by ex- Nigeria international Emmanuel Amuneke.
