Uganda release 30-man squad for Eagles friendly

Cranes of Uganda head coach, Sebastien Desbare has announced a 30-man list that would face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in an international friendly at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, the Delta state capital on November 20.

Before the friendly, the same squad will tackle Cape Verde in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on November 17 at the Namboole Stadium, Kampala.

Reports emanating from Kampala reveal that the Cranes who last faced the Eagles in a friendly in 2015 will commence preparations for both matches on November 9 with the home based players, while the 16 overseas based players will report to the team’s Lugago camp on November 11.

Uganda lead Group L with ten points and need just one point to qualify for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon. They are followed by Tanzania coached by ex- Nigeria international Emmanuel Amuneke.
