Usman Abdallah quits as Wikki Tourists boss

Coach Usman Abdallah has resigned from his position as the Technical Adviser of Nigeria professional football league side Wikki Tourists.

Abdallah confirmed in a letter that he wishes the club all the best in the future as he decided to end his 16-month relationship with them.

Wikki Tourist has struggled to make an impact in the 2020-2021 Nigeria professional football league campaign and a poor run of results saw take just eight points from their last ten league games.

The club also suffered 5-1 humiliation to Katsina United ten days ago, before losing 2-1 to Nasarawa United at home on Sunday.

“With respect and gratitude for having the privilege to work with you. I am very sad to tender my resignation as the technical adviser of Wikki Tourists Football Club of Bauchi. I wish the club success in its future endeavors” Abdallah wrote in his letter to the club.

Wikki Tourists sit 15th in the NPFL standings after earning just 24 points from 21 matches.
