Nigeria forward, Henry Onyekuru who just sealed a loan move from Everton to Galatasaray on a one-year
deal for €800,000 has become a shock target for La Liga side, Valencia.

Valencia are attempting to have the loan deal for Everton forward Henry Onyekuru canceled with a view
to a permanent transfer.

The 21-year-old prolific striker, who currently earns £31,000-per-week on his Everton contract
(Spotrac) has already settled down with Galatasaray, scoring a maiden goal and putting on a nifty
assist as well.

The report from Turkish outlet Sporx claims that Valencia are offering the 21-year-old a five-year
contract to start immediately before the beginning of the upcoming season.

Everton signed the Nigerian international at the beginning of last season from KAS Eupen in Belgium for
€8million, and loaned him out to Anderlecht in the Jupiler League amid work permit concerns.

The player refused to go back to Anderlecht this season on another loan after reports surfaced of a
deteriorating relationship with the club’s management.

The only way this can go ahead is if there is a termination or a recall clause in the player’s loan
agreement, and the Blues will then have to pay the penalty reimbursement. All that only comes into play
if indeed Everton do want to sell the player who appears to have all the potential to turn into a
lethal forward.
