Video: Bees stop football match as players dive for safety

A football match in Tanzania was briefly stopped when a swarm of bees invaded the pitch.

Two local teams, Young Africans and Iringa United, were playing at Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam when the incident took place.

Interestingly, the incident left the footballers, match officials and fans with little or no time to make a decision as many were sighted diving for safety. See video below:

However, moments later, the game restarted after the unwanted visitors made away from the match venue.
