Video: Ighalo nets wonder goal for United against LASK in UEL
Odion Ighalo’s fourth goal in a Manchester United shirt was his best yet, with the Nigerian scoring a wonderful goal to put his side 1-0 up away at LASK in the Europa League on Thursday night.
In the first half, Bruno Fernandes picked out the Nigerian with a gorgeous outside of the boot pass and Ighalo controlled it superbly, performing two kick-ups to set himself and unleash a thunderous strike that went in off the bar with his weaker left foot.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s reaction on the bench perfectly summed up the sensational piece of play from Ighalo.
The stunning goal means Ighalo, who signed on loan from Shanghai Shenhua, has scored four goals in three starts against Brugge, Derby County and now LASK.

Unfortunately there were no Manchester United fans in the away end to see Odion Ighalo do his best Tony Yeboah impression and ripple the net.
That’s because the Austrian government made a late decision to play the round of 16 first leg behind closed doors.

A text from the club to supporters read: “We appreciate the lengths to which supporters go to follow the team wherever we are playing in Europe. We understand that, for many fans, the cost of travel and accommodation for the LASK game will have been non-refundable.
