Villarreal vs Spartak Moscow: Chukwueze to lead yellow submarines’ attack

Super Eagles wonderkid, Samuel Chukwueze is set to lead the attack for Villarreal as they welcome Russian side Spartak Moscow in a huge Europa Cup clash at the Estadio de la Cerámica.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a brilliant season so far since he broke into the first team and it’s no surprise that manager, Luis García is tasking with the responsibility of leading the yellow submarines to victory.

Chukwueze has made four appearances already in the Europa League but he will hope to make a mark in their final Group G encounter as Villarreal hope to qualify for the round of 32.

Villarreal currently sit top with seven points from five games while Spartak Moscow are currently placed bottom with five points and a draw will be enough for the yellow submarines to qualify.

Chukwueze joined Villarreal youth setup in 2017, from local side Diamond Academy and make his first-team debut on 20 September 2018 in a 2–2 UEFA Europa League home draw against Scottish giants Rangers, coming in for Nicola Sansone in the 79th minute.
