WCQ: Ghana’s Black stars land in Abuja ahead Nigeria’s Super Eagles tie

Ghana’s Black Stars delegation comprising players and officials touched down in Abuja on Monday ahead of their all-important World Cup Qualifier fixture against Nigeria’s Super Eagles.

The Otto Addo-led team arrived the Nigerian capital Monday afternoon and will train at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium from 5:00 p.m. to have a feel of the turf ahead of their decisive game against the Super Eagles.

Interestingly, the two nations played out a barren draw at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi watched by a massive 40,000 plus attendance.

The visitors will face more than 60,000 Nigerian supporters at the national stadium after CAF granted the NFF’s request to have the stadium at full capacity.

The Eagles need an outright win to qualify for the World Cup while a score draw will help the Black Stars book a ticket to Qatar 2022.
