We must be ready to sweat against Libya, Rohr insists

Victory in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations double header against Libya will guarantee Nigeria a qualification spot, but the Super Eagles must be prepared both physically and mentally and not to underrate the Libyans says Coach Gernot Rohr.

Rohr said that the Eagles will respect the Mediterranean Knights, but aren’t taking anything for granted either, as the team prepares for the two-leg qualification matches with the Eagles having the first home advantage.

The 65-year-old German tactician also said that the Eagles would take the games serious as they did against Cameroun during the FIFA World Cup qualifier, as he promises to field only fit players for the epic clash.

“We have to prepare for the two matches as we did against Cameroun last time. Two games in four days means we have to be very fit’’, the tactician stated.
