We would beat Libya in Nigeria–Rohr

Super Eagles Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr has revealed that his boys will go all out against Libya
both home and away to secure the maximum 6 points needed to be at a better advantage to qualify for the
Africa Nations Cup scheduled for Cameroon next year.

Rohr while chatting with Sportinglife.ng, said Libya has a formidable team that can surprise any nation if under rated but our target is to beat them in Nigeria and possibly secure a point in their adopted
home.

The Franco-German tactician said the players are aware of the task ahead as they cannot afford to miss out at the next year’s AFCON having not participated in the two previous editions in 2015 and 2017.

He also said that the players have assured him of their total commitment and to give their all any time they get an invite to be part of the team.

“You know that qualifying for AFCON will help me keep my job so I will not take chances and only  players that are ready to give me 100% at the field of play I will use against Libya. There will be no  time for experiment and only the best I will use for the match”. Said Rohr

The boss expressed confidence that Chelsea out of favour player Victor Moses will be admitted into the
super eagles if he changes his mind.

“Moses is an experienced and committed player. Any time he is playing he gives his best but I can’t force him to return to the team. He is still part of my plan because playing at AFCON you need experience players like him. Nigeria has talented players outside and gradually I will bring them in”. Eagles boss said.
