Wembley Showdown: Eagles to train in London at 4.30pm

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will have their first training session in the UK at 4.30pm on Thursday at the Barnet Stadium ahead of Saturday’s glamour friendly against the Three Lions of England.

The team which arrived England last night are lodged at the Wembley Hilton Hotel located at Lakeside Way.

“2018 World Cup camp update. @VictorMoses has arrived in camp. We will be training at the Barnet Stadium at 4.30pm today.#SoarSuperEagles #Team9jaStrong,” read the post on the team’s Twitter handle.

The team comprising 25 players, officials and NFF board members were welcomed by Chelsea forward Victor Moses who was the first Eagle to hit the team’s London camp last night.

26 players are now in camp, including Moses Simon who will undergo a final scan today to determine the severity of his thigh injury.

On Friday, the team will train at the Wembley Stadium which is the venue of Saturday’s clash between 5pm to 6pm, after a pre-match press conference scheduled for the Stadium’s conference room at 4.15pm.
