West Ham to launch cash bid for Chelsea defender Tomori

West Ham United are ready to launch a cash bid for Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori.

According to The Sun of UK, earlier this month it was reported that Rennes was the most likely destination for out of favour Chelsea centre-back Tomori.

The move was likely to be just a loan deal, but now reports suggest that West Ham are eyeing a permanent deal for Tomori.

The 23-year-old rejected a move to West Ham in the summer, pulling out of the deal just hours before the deadline fell.

But a lack of game time so far this season could force him to re-think, with Hammers fans desperate to land a defender in January.
