Which Eagle will score against Crocodiles in Maseru?

The Super Eagles earned a 2-1 win over Squirrels at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Wednesday.

The victory did not come on a platter, as the homers were given initial shocker following an early goal by Stéphane Sessègnon.  The Eagles had to come from behind to level up via a penalty converted by Victor Osimhen before Samuel Kalu got the winner via a screamer.

After that hurdle the next in continuation of 2021 AFCON qualifier is today’s encounter against Crocodiles of lesotho at the Setsoto Stadium in Maseru.

The Eagles originally billed to depart for Lesotho on Friday, had the trip shifted to Saturday to reduce the impact weather condition and other challenges associated with playing at high altitude.

Again the Eagles will be forced to play on artificial pitch which some of the players are not used to.

Captain of the side Ahmed Musa has hinted that the match will again not be a tea party for the Eagles.

The Crocodiles on their part have shown that they have the fighting spirit after holding Sierra Leone to a 1-1 draw in Freetown.

They certainly will be fighting harder in front of their home supporters. Samuel Kalu who grabbed the winning goal in Uyo could pass for the hero of the first hurdle.
