Why Arsenal, Man Utd failed to sign Emmanuel Dennis – Agent

Emmanuel Dennis could have joined Manchester United or Arsenal before he finally moved to Watford in the Premier League, according to the player’s close confidant.

Player agent Drew Uyi, who has handled some of Dennis’ matters, has revealed that the asking price of Belgian champions Club Brugge scared off the top Premier League clubs.

“Arsenal were interested (in signing Dennis) in the past, Manchester United were also interested, but for Club Brugge ridiculous fee on him,” Uyi told The Football Show on YouTube

“They wanted 25 Million pounds, while these clubs were prepared to pay 15 Million,

“In the end he joined Watford for 3.4 Million pounds because his contract was running out.”

Dennis has since become a bargain transfer for Watford with six goals and as many assists thus far.

“He was frustrated at Club Brugge, he was not happy because no young man would be if he were stopped from such opportunities (Manchester United, Arsenal).”

The agent also said he expects Dennis to move on to a bigger club from Watford.

“This (Watford) is not his final bus stop,” he predicted.
