Why Asaba is hosting Eagles, Egypt friendly–NFF

According to dailyadvent.com, said it took into consideration the comfort of the two teams which the Delta State government has promised to provide besides making the day of the game a memorable one for all those that will turn up to watch the match.

“Since the state has accepted to host matches involving the team for now, who are we to say no? We all know what goes into a game as regards the financial implication. And Delta for now has been taking care of that on behalf of the federation which we are grateful for,” said a source.

If the match is played in Asaba, it will be the second high profile match involving the Eagles that the state capital will be hosting.

Last month the state hosted Nigeria’s international friendly against Uganda and also the final of the Aiteo Cup between Rangers of Enugu and Kano Pillars.
