Gianluigi Buffon’s agent, Silvano Martina, has explained why the goalkeeper has returned to Parma: ‘I’m not surprised.
The 43-year-old will play for the Ducali next season, having completed a free move to Juventus.
He returns to the Stadio Tardini 26 years after his Serie A debut in a Gialloblu shirt.

“He liked the idea, he had received many offers, but only Parma seemed the ideal solution to close the circle. Honestly, I am not surprised, that’s how he is,” his agent Silvano Martina told Parmalive.
“He has great memories about Parma, he is going to give his best, I can’t predict the future, but I hope Serie B is transitory, just like it happened with Juventus. It’s a long and challenging league, many clubs took a while to return to Serie A.”
