Work permit stops Omeruo from Ukraine Friendly
Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo has withdrawn from the international friendly encounter against Ukraine due to work permit issues.
A source close to the player revealed that the center-back is processing his work permit in Spain having secured a permanent deal with La Liga sie Leganes.
He becomes the second player to pull out after Wilfred Ndidi who is out due to injury.
It remains to be seen if head coach Gernot Rohr would call up another defender to replace Omeruo ahead of the match billed for September 10 at the Dnipro Arena in Ukraine.
Omeruo has made two appearances for Leganes this season that he joined from Chelsea last month.
