Both posts on Instagram have received a huge amount of positive messages from fans and fellow professionals, including Chicago Red Stars players Rachel Hill and Kealia Watt, who wrote: “Love this and love you guys.” and “Congratulations Toni!!! So happy for you.”
Marta Vieira, who holds the record for the most goals scored at FIFA World Cup tournaments (17), is the first player ever to score at five different WC tournaments, while Toni Deion Pressley has spent four years at Orlando Pride after joining from Houston Dash in 2015.
The duo are said to be eager to start their new campaign with Orlando, with the regular NWSL 2021 season beginning in mid-May.
