World’s sexiest athlete Alica Schmidt set to thrill in Tokyo

 

German track star Alica Schmidt, who has been branded as the ‘the world’s sexiest athlete, has been selected for this summer’s Olympics in Tokyo.

The blonde-haired bombshell has been selected as part of the German team for the women’s 4×400 relay, as well as the mixed 4×400 relay – which is making its debut as an event.

The 22-year-old impressed in the junior ranks, and she claimed silver at the 2017 European Athletics Under-20 Championship in the 4×400 relay.

And her Olympic dream was realised, when the German team selected her, and Schmidt could hardly contain her excitement on Instagram.

“TOKYO IS CALLING – I‘m going to the Olympics!” She captioned a photo of herself with the Olympic rings photoshopped in.

“Still feels unreal! I’m so grateful and at the same time thrilled to experience something I have been dreaming of since I started all of this! Bring it on – I so can’t wait for this.”

Alongside her rise on track has been her social media following, thanks to her looks: “I do not know why I got this title. Sport comes clearly first,” she said of her newfound title.

“There are thousands of girls on Instagram who look good and still do not have as many fans.”

However, she hasn’t just limited her talents to the track, and she recently shot fame in the footballing world by putting Borussia Dortmund’s players through their paces.

But it didn’t stop photos of Schmidt next to stars such as Erling Haaland, and Sancho, from doing the rounds on social media.

Schmidt had amassed over 1.6million followers on Instagram, however, it hasn’t stopped or changed the Germans focus.
