You’re better off playing in the Bundesliga, Ince warns Sancho
Paul Ince has warned Jadon Sancho that he may be better off staying in Germany.
Having joined Borussia Dortmund from Manchester City in 2017, he’s become one of the hottest prospects in world football.
Sancho has now bagged 34 goals for the Bundesliga giants in 99 games.
His impressive exploits haven’t gone unnoticed and Manchester United are eager to secure his services.
Dortmund, however, are proving to be tough negotiators.
They set a deadline of August 10 to agree any deal and want at least £100million for the England international.
Sancho has now jetted out to Dortmund’s pre-season training camp in Switzerland and Michael Zorc – the club’s sporting director – is adamant that a transfer is off the table.
Ince reckons staying put won’t do Sancho any harm, though.
“Remember, at Dortmund he’s playing every week and that’s what he wants,” he said.
“He’s still going to be scoring goals for Dortmund in the Champions League next season.
“There’s no rush for him. He can take his time and he’s still got lots to learn.
“Sancho can keep developing at Dortmund. He doesn’t want to return to the Premier League and regret it.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to revive United’s fortunes after a difficult few years.
The Red Devils eventually finished third in the Premier League following an impressive run of form.
Solskjaer wants to build his side around dynamic young players and Ince reckons Sancho has the attitude required to flourish at Old Trafford.
“You see so many kids in the Premier League who are just prepared to play U23 football and pick up their cash,” added Ince, who won two titles with the Red Devils.
“Sancho is not one of those. He wanted to play senior football regularly.

“We’ve seen the affect it’s had on him and how he’s matured. You can see he’s going to be a world-class player
“He’s been an absolute revelation and reminds of Ryan Giggs in the way he gets bums of seats.
“If he does come back to the UK it’s about picking the right manager and style of team for him.
“For a player like Sancho, he needs to keep testing himself.
“The football he’s used to and the way Dortmund currently play is very similar to Liverpool.
“But Manchester United is an obvious move – for sure – even with Anthony Marital, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford.”
