Zambia Football Federation have concluded arrangements to set up a training base for its Women National Team in Nigeria ahead of the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations to be hosted by Ghana from November 17 to December 1.
Nigeria was picked by the FA for its final phase of preparations because of similar weather conditions with Ghana.
While in Nigeria, the Shipopolo ladies will play a couple of friendly matches before departing for the tournament.
FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala confirmed the development during a press briefing at football house on Tuesday afternoon.
“I also wish to inform the public that the women national team will have a camp in West Africa before the Africa Cup. We organized a camp for our team and they will be in Nigeria,” he said.

The team is currently in camp in Zambia.
