Zidane recalls Isco, drops Courtois for Celta Vigo clash

Zinedine Zidane has dropped Thibaut Courtois in his first match in charge as Real Madrid coach while he has brought back Gareth Bale and Isco.

In place of Courtois, Zidane has recalled Keylor Navas who was an outcast under former manager, Santiago Solari.

Isco was an outcast under Solari, failing to start a single LaLiga game.

The Frenchman led Madrid to three consecutive Champions League titles before surprising the football world by handing in his resignation.

Both Solari and Zidane’s replacement Julen Lopetegui struggled to get to grips with Madrid’s high expectations and lasted only short periods before being sacked.
