Zielinski agent meets with Juventus after Napoli talks stall

Piotr Zielinski’s agent Bartolomej Bolek had an initial meeting with Juventus as contract talks with Napoli have stalled.

Giovanni Annunziata of Calciomercato.com detailed how the 29-year-old Polish midfielder refused a move to Saudi Arabia in the summer in order to move forward with the Partenopei after their Scudetto success last season.

Zielinski has entered the last year of his contract with Napoli and talks have long been open regarding a new deal. The first meeting came back in July during the pre-season camp in Dimaro and things stalled after multiple rounds of negotiations, with one of the key factors being commissions.

Time has started to pass and the Polish midfielder is now considering other opportunities. Juventus and Inter are both keenly interested in signing the 29-year-old on a free transfer next summer.

His agent Bolek has already held a first meeting with Bianconeri director Cristiano Giuntoli and has also been contacted by Piero Ausilio to sound out a possible deal with the Nerazzurri.
