Zimbabwe Coach: We’ve Come To Learn from Eagles

Warriors of Zimbabwe head coach, Sunday Chidzambga, has said that they are in Asaba to learn from the Super Eagles who are one of the strongest teams in Africa.

We are here to learn from Eagles

“It is always important to play such team going into a big tournament like the Nations Cup.

“They have won the Nations Cup many (three) times and it is important we use this game to learn from them.” The match comes up at 6pm today at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.

Zimbabwe who have never gone beyond the group stage of the Nations Cup are however satisfied to be referred to as the underdogs in their group which parades host nation Egypt, Uganda and DR Congo.

“We are not going to Egypt with a specific target in our mind. Like l said we have come here to learn,” he added.

But despite trying to be cautious with words, Chidzambga attributed the team’s qualification to the contributions of his strikers who scored in all of their matches during the qualifiers.

“That’s one of our strongest weapons,” he boasted.
