Zola Joins Moses, Others to fight cancer

Gianfranco Zola dusted off his boots and put on a Chelsea shirt once again as he took part in a Stand Up To Cancer challenge.

Chelsea stars past and present came together to raise awareness and donations the for this year’s Stand Up To Cancer campaign.

Zola was joined by Carlo Cudicini and Katie Chapman, as well as current Blues players N’Golo Kante, Gary Cahill, David Luiz, Victor Moses and Davide Zappacosta.

‘It’s always good for the players to be able to take part in events such as these. Stand Up To Cancer is such an important campaign because cancer affects so many people,” said Moses.

Zola enjoyed a very successful career at Chelsea between 1996 to 2003.

During the challenge – set up by Hyundai – the Chelsea crop attempted to hit targets emblazoned with ‘CANCER’, attached to drones flying around Cobham training ground.
