2019/20 NPFL Season To Kick Off October 16, LMC Notifies Clubs

Barring any last-minute change, the 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League, (NPFL) season could commence on October 16, according to the League Management Company (LMC).

A source close to the LMC said the 20 clubs in the NPFL have been notified of the of the kick-off date.

The league body had earlier issued similar memo, proposing September 22 for the new season start. But logistic reasons, including players registration, documentation, amongst others rendered that date infeasible.
